Nicola Kilimann, who is behind the solo project VINTER, dreamed of becoming a writer as a child.

Today she lives out this desire in her music, which is a mixture of gripping alt-pop, organic indie

folk and singer/songwriter elements. In 2021 she released her debut album “Seasons”, which turned

her from an insider tip into one of the most exciting new voices in European pop music.

Her songs are characterized by strong contrasts and emotional facets in which she weaves

autobiographical and fictional elements together. VINTER plays with the depth of her lyrics and

avoids superficiality, which is reflected in her detailed song miniatures. She is currently working on

her second album „Romance Is Dead“, which will be released in July this year.
