The “pleasantly peculiar” songwriter ROSAHOELGER sings with an incredibly free voice. Somewhere between revolt, wit, and tenderness about missing holiday feelings, rubber boots, and the admiration she has for people with ambition. In April 2026, she and her band will go on a nationwide tour with their new album.

With the band that has grown together over the years: Judith Retzlik (violin, vocals), Tommy Schwarzbach (drums, percussion), and Lewin Grosse (piano, bass). The concerts invite you to question things, to dream, to grin along, to connect, and to find your center.

“Für Immer Gummistiefel” is Rosa’s first band album just as colorful as the band itself and all the friends who contributed to it. In the single “Sterne sehn” ft. Dota Kehr, the life-loving “the world is yours” attitude sparkles, while other songs, influenced by folk, punk, and alternative, open up tenderly romantic, sharply melancholic, or strikingly quirky worlds. Some say it’s a true roller coaster of emotions! What keeps the journey feeling feather-light are the moments in between: full of joyful warmth, fearlessness, and whatever happens in that very moment.

Rosa Hoelger received the promotional award of the Liederbestenliste in 2020, and in 2021 the band reached the finals of the Rio Reiser Award. Performing on German stages since 2015, she has now released three EPs and one album. Her songs “Dieses verdammte Gefühl” (2019) and “Winter in Spechte” (2024) have been played on stations such as Deutschlandfunk and WDR5.
