Amber & the Moon balance between delicate acoustic arrangements and expansive soundscapes—always wrapped in a mysterious atmosphere. At the center is the warm, melancholic voice of singer and guitarist Ronja, whose haunting melodies and poetic lyrics create a sonic world suspended between comfort and longing. What began as Ronja’s solo project gradually evolved into an organic band collective. Their creative process is shaped by retreat and reflection: early sketches often emerge in the quiet of nature before being developed together in the studio.

In particular, the vocal harmonies of lead singers Ronja and Jonathan lend the music a special intimacy, evoking comparisons to Damien Rice & Lisa Hannigan or Angus & Julia Stone. The band is complemented by seasoned Hamburg-based studio and session musicians Ben Schadow and Torben Sdunek.
