Our reception on the 4th floor is occupied each day from 8 am to 9.30 pm except sunday (8 am to 8 pm). In these times we are happy to help you with all your questions about the hostel,
our city with all its beauty and secrets and of course our bar and theatre on the ground floor. Outside our reception times our bar-team on the groundfloor is gonna help you with whatev- er it is. In case of emergency you can reach us 24/7 by calling +49 221 / 98 59 30 99. In case of fire please use one of our emergency phones (one on each floor) and call the fire brigade dialing 112. Check-out-time is 12 pm.
Our living room on 4th floor is open 24/7 for you. You can have free coffee and tea all day and night. lf you take cold drinks please fill out one of the papers hanging on the fridge and throw it into the mailbox next to the elevator. You can pay them when you check out.
We offer a tasty vegetarian continental break- fast on the 4th floor every day from 8 am to 11.00 am. It contains fresh buns, fruits, bread, cheese, marmelades, an organic egg, spreads and much more for 9,90 € only. There’s also a big choice of yummy vegan food. It’s great for us to know if you want to have a breakfast the evening before, but of course we always have something for spontaneous people.
Wi-Fi is free and works in the whole building. Just connect your device to ”wohngemeinschaft“. lf you can‘t connect for any reason please let us know.
By showing your guest-pass you will get 10% off in the café/bar on the ground floor. The café is open from 3 pm offering coffee, cakes, soups and much more. The café turns into a bar at
8 pm and closes 2 am. On the weekend you can hang out there until 3 am. The bar is one of Cologne’s nightlife hotspots where you can meet locals as well as other travellers.
On the ground floor you can also find our theatre where regular events like concerts, readings, theatre and film screenings take place. You can see local acts as well as national and international artists. Tickets for the events are available at the bar. An up-to-date program is always available at our reception desk.
Smoking is not allowed in all rooms of the hostel. Every room is equipped with a highly sensitive smoke detection system to avoid fires. This system may alarm the whole floor as well as
the bar on the ground floor. The point is: Please don‘t smoke anywhere in the building.
